Benefits of a yoga practice:

Private & Group Yoga Classes

Everyone has their own reasons for stepping foot onto their yoga mat. What’s your why?

Identifying your personal goals and intentions can help decide the class that’ll support you best.

Private sessions are great if:

  • You are a beginner yogi looking to find your footing, explore what works for your body without comparing yourself to more experienced yogis, and start your yoga practice with ease and confidence.

  • You are seeking individualized support to work through a personal goal or challenge—offering you a safe, therapeutic space to explore and release whatever emotions come up naturally in practice.

Group sessions are great if:

  • You are looking for the camaraderie, energy, and drive found within a supportive community.

  • You are seeking a more affordable option to embrace your yoga practice

The best part? You can mix up your experience with private and group classes any time. Just reach out for a personal 1:1 or sign-up for a group class below.

Sunday Slow Flow @ the CO Lab will resume in September 2024

About the Class:

The class combines asana, meditation, and pranayama (breath) to bring you to a place where you can simply “chill”.  Move and groove at your own comfort level and experience the transition of your physical, mental, and energetic bodies from activity to a state of rest and digest.

Yoga FAQs

  • My blend of yoga practices includes asana poses to strengthen posture and promote healing within the body, combined with therapy to discuss your personal wellness goals and alleviate your suffering or stress.

Yoga practice may be for you if you are interested in beginning or improving your yoga activities. It offers mindfulness if you have goals you are working toward or want to incorporate physical movement beyond the thought-focused work you are currently experiencing.

Yoga is highly beneficial if you are in addiction recovery and need a spiritual-adjacent practice or have unresolved trauma history that you would like to explore or heal.

  • While yoga provides benefits for many people, there are some cases where yoga practice is not recommended. If you are suffering from extensive injuries or have limited mobility, yoga may not be the solution at this time.

For those that are currently going through an emotional or physical crisis, it is recommended that you seek other options, such as mental health therapy or counseling, before beginning a yoga regimen.

  • The cost for yoga classes depends on whether you join a group or private class.

All yoga sessions are held in our welcoming office space and last about an hour.

    • Private one-on-one session — $100/hr

    • Small group class - let’s talk and discuss your needs.

  • Dressing well for yoga is easy! Pair comfortable pants, leggings, or shorts with a form-fitting top (one that will not slip down through various poses)

Staying hydrated is important, so I suggest you bring a water bottle with you before and after class. If you have a personal yoga mat that you are comfortable bringing, please do! If not, class yoga mats are provided for you for the duration of the class.

What Clients Are Saying

“Lauren is a wonderful teacher. She leads us through yoga flows with ease, meeting each participant where they are."

I especially enjoy the centering time at the beginning of class and the savasana at the end. Lauren has gentle suggestions of setting intentions and letting things go. I feel more at peace and grounded in my body after class.

- Sheryl Cohen

“Lauren is mindful of everyone in the class and there is no shame for being a beginner or for needing a modification.

She is always checking in visually to make sure everyone is moving safely but she will also challenge you to try something new if you are up for it.”

- Lisa W

I’d love to welcome you to a class and guide you through the powerful emotional and physical release available on the mat.

If you have questions about which style of yoga class would best fit your needs, send me a message to discuss your personal goals and experience on the mat.
